My name is Jason Wilks, my wife and I have two high functioning non-verbal autistic boys. Stats show that 90% of autistics will never hold down a job, so I took it upon myself to create a business they can work in.

I was bus driving in the oil sands for four years, and started researching businesses I could start on my down time in camp. Pressure washing made the most sense. I did research 6-8 hours per day for almost a year, and in April of 2017 we started Kirbapeal with our tax refund. We bought a commercial grade pressure washer, a 24" surface cleaner, and a very used trailer and started advertising on Kijiji. I worked part time on our business when I was home from the oil sands. The company I was working for lost the contract in April of 2018, so we decided to go full time with Kirbapeal. After doing the spring trade show, we launched into our season.
